90 Minute Group Introductory Lesson

Learning to sail on your Bucket List? Now is your chance to get on the water and learn some basic sailing concepts. Perfect for a vacation activity. The class is spent on our fast, responsive, easy to sail J/80s. This is a keel boat, no capsizing possible. No prior experience required. Fun expected. The majority of the 90 minutes are spent on the water sailing as you learn parts of the boat, basic trim terminology and wind direction. This lesson is given in an open group format. We operate the boat with the intention of taking out 6 passengers, where you get to share the fun with others. A perfect opportunity for those on a budget who don’t require a private charter. Take this class if you think you want to learn about sailing but aren’t certain you are ready to commit to a certification course. By the end of the class you’ll know if sailing is for you.
